PC players can use a console command to experience the TRUE Hardcore mode in Battlefield 3 – no UI (user interface) or HUD means no spotting, no flags, no teammate icons, no chat box, NOTHING. You are on your own, identifying enemies by uniform and sound alone and enjoying total immersion. All of these clips were recorded during actual random matches on public servers. The console command to remove the UI is (after pressing ~ to open the console) “ui.drawenable 0″ Then, “ui.drawenable 1″ will turn it back on.
